What is globalization?

That is the question I have asked myself. I also asked a few Zaadzsters to define globalization in their own words. I have gotten a wide range of answers. Some responses were personal. Others were academic or technical. A few are against it. Some others feel the potential it has.
Either way, I think globalization is a phenomena that cannot be dismissed. It affects everyone if they are aware of it or not.
People wonder why I ask them this question. I love concepts. I love the idea of community and connections. As a poet I can see the metaphor in the micro and the macro level.
