This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 29, 2007:
Furrawn
From Anais Nin I learned the word furrawn- "the intimacy achieved through conversation that leads us to a greater understanding of ourselves, others, and thereby the world at large." (quoted from a filmmaker who created a video diary festival)
I have this need for greater connection in our relationships and in our communication. Conversation that leads to this type of deep connection delights, inspires, enourages, and makes me grow as a person as whole. It makes me feel interconnected with every human being.

It's amazing! I must have created the intention for furrawn to enter my life. I shared it with zaadz, and then all of a sudden I made all these connections. I got reconnected with an old friend by meeting at a beautiful cafe–completely renovated and refurbished. We spoke about the desire for truth and justice, our relationship with spirituality, our creative projects, our fears and doubts, and our hopes. We departed with smiles and hugs. I shared with him the word furrawn. I told him to google it. :) I knew he liked doing research so I wondered how quickly he could find it.
Then I received two phone calls on my cell phone. In one, I had the opportunity to reveal empathy, concern, and love for a sick friend. In another phone call, I was invited to continue on a production, a music video.
Then later, I contacted a woman who said that she wanted to get together for a meeting to talk about living/working studio spaces for artists and other creative people.
Love, joy, creativity, interaction…what more?

Yes, you apparantly did. That is so exciting!!! I am thrilled for you, these doors you had open for you. Over the past few weeks, since I broke up with my boyfriend and have been pursueing a life I want, one of being open and loving, my house has been a flow of movement with people stopping by, phone calls, making new friends. I also work out of my home, so people come in for that, but we often end of talking too. it's a good flow of energy, that is for sure.
